Background-

Newport-based de Novo Solutions has secured a place among Europe’s fastest-growing businesses after being ranked 33rd on the FT1000 list.

The annual ranking, compiled by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, recognises companies across the continent that have delivered exceptional revenue growth over recent years.

Founded in 2021, the digital transformation firm has expanded at a pace, increasing its workforce from just 10 employees to around 140. What began as a small Welsh start-up has quickly developed into an international operation, with additional offices now established in England and India.

The company provides technology solutions designed to support organisations in areas such as HR, procurement, payroll and finance, serving both public and private sector clients.

Founder and Group Chief Executive Mark Sweeny described the recognition as an important milestone for the business. He noted that after gaining attention in the UK for its rapid yet sustainable expansion, being listed among Europe’s fastest-growing companies represents a significant achievement.

According to Sweeny, the firm’s progress reflects its focus on delivering measurable value to clients while continuing to invest in innovation. In addition to its business expansion, the company has continued to invest in nurturing young professionals through structured graduate and apprenticeship schemes.

The new ranking underlines not just its strong revenue growth, but also its rising influence across Europe’s fast-moving technology market.
