The European Business Institute of Luxembourg (EBU) has teamed up with European quantum software firm Superpositions to introduce quantum computing into its business curriculum, launching the move under a new programme called Q-Ready.

EBU will roll out standalone quantum computing courses and weave quantum concepts into its existing programmes. The school says the aim is to help students grasp how quantum technologies could shape business decisions as the field matures across different industries.

Through the partnership, students will explore how quantum and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms can be applied to practical problems in sectors such as finance, energy, manufacturing and healthcare, moving the subject beyond its usual home in physics and academic research.

A key part of the learning experience comes through Superpositions Studio, a platform that lets students run quantum experiments and see results almost immediately. They can test problems across different types of quantum hardware and compare how outcomes shift from one machine to another, giving them insight useful for shaping business strategy around the technology. Superpositions has opened up this access to students at any university, not just those enrolled at EBU.

EBU says it recognises that quantum computing is increasingly entering business conversations, and wants to prepare future professionals for the shift before the technology becomes mainstream.
