Alcatel-Lucent has hosted the launch of CEO Women Europe at its headquarters in Paris, marking a new forum aimed at promoting diverse leadership and strengthening business ties between Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
The inaugural event, themed around building a business leadership alliance between East and West, brought together senior officials, chief executives and decision-makers who emphasized that sustainable transformation and digital progress depend on diverse leadership at the highest levels.
The gathering also marked the nomination of Sandrine El Khodry, executive vice president of global sales and Marketing at Alcatel-Lucent, as President of CEO Women Europe. With close to three decades of leadership experience, she has built a strong record guiding global teams across diverse markets and will now help shape the direction of the new platform.
Under her leadership, CEO Women Europe aims to expand international partnerships and strengthen business connectivity across Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific, while creating new opportunities for women leaders and entrepreneurs.
Sandrine El Khodry described taking on the role as a profound honor at a pivotal moment for international business, saying her career had shown her how diverse leadership and cross-cultural collaboration could drive sustainable growth. She added that the launch reflected a deeper commitment to building stronger bridges between regions.
Dr. Mona Morad, CEO of On Air Group and founder of CEO Women, said the launch and Sandrine El Khodry’s nomination marked a strategic step in expanding CEO Women’s international presence and growing its global business network.
The event also featured remarks from senior figures including Dr Doaa bint Mohammed, CEO of Al Mohra Education Company, who said empowering Arab women was a national and humanitarian endeavour with impact extending across society as a whole.
