Background

Specialist facilities services provider UK Commercial Group Ltd is pushing into mainland Europe as part of a broader effort to grow its presence in international markets.

The London headquartered company, which also runs offices in Newcastle, Manchester and Leeds, has built a solid track record providing compliance, maintenance and support services across a range of sectors in the United Kingdom.

Its first major European deal kicks off in January 2027, covering servicing, repairs, maintenance and specialist cleaning for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems along with air handling units.

The contract will serve a leading leisure operator and several private healthcare providers spread across ten European countries, among them France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland, giving the firm a sizeable new international footprint.

Chief executive officer Tony Earnshaw called the European push a strategic and necessary move for the company, noting that lasting economic growth depends on British firms looking beyond domestic markets to build international partnerships and bring fresh revenue back into the UK.

He said the contract would cover maintaining critical infrastructure across leisure and healthcare sites while keeping systems safe, efficient and fully compliant with regulatory standards.

The expansion arrives as multinational clients increasingly look for consistent service delivery spanning several countries.

According to the company, its technical know-how and compliance driven approach make it well suited to serve international clients, even as working across European jurisdictions after Brexit has demanded considerable planning and investment.

Earnshaw said the firm remains focused on forging strong commercial ties across Europe while still generating jobs and investment back in the UK.
